Eddy Current Separators manufactured by Eriez Magnetics are primarily used in the recycling of materials. Unlike magnetic separators that attract ferrous material, eddy current separators repel conductive objects from the process stream. | Dry high intensity magnetic separators are used for minerals treatment and resource recovery. The development of rare earth magnets has dramatically improved the capabilties of permanent magnetic separators. Employed in the purification of such minerals as silica sand and garnet, the Rare Earth Roll (pictured) can be arranged in series for optimum performance. Eriez Magnetics' wet drum separators remove magnetic particles from slurries. Frequently used in heavy media applications such as coal cleaning, wet drum sparators are also used in iron mining to separate iron from its host ore and in hard rock milling to remove iron contaminants from grinding circuits. | |||||||||||||||||||||

Wet high intensity magnetic separators are used to remove both micron-sized ferrous and paramagentic particulate. Eriez Magnetics builds both WHIMS systems (pictured) and High Gradient Magnetic Separators, HGMS, to process slurried materials such as metallic ores and clays. Eriez has furnished super-conducting HGMS units with a field strength of 5 Tesla.

Eriez Magnetics offers a complete of both permanent and electomagnetic lifting magnets. Permanent lifting magnets are furnished with release mechanisms for ease of use.
